Aston Villa’s 1995–97 period under Brian Little was a strong and successful era, highlighted by silverware and consistent top-flight finishes.

In 1995/96, Villa enjoyed an excellent season, finishing fourth in the Premier League and winning the Coca-Cola Cup (League Cup) by beating Leeds United 3–0 at Wembley — with goals from Savo Milošević, Ian Taylor, and Dwight Yorke. The team also reached the FA Cup semi-finals, showcasing an entertaining, attacking style led by Yorke, Taylor, and Mark Draper.
